8 shot journey

The first task that i had to do for my 8 shot journey was to create a story bored with 8 different shots. These shots had to be different types of camera angles and distances e.g. a long shot. Eventhough i didn't plan my 8 shot journey this way, most of my shots were close ups due to the obscene amount of people walking around and getting in the way of everything!!!

We then hired out the camera and paired up with another person which in my case this person was Neil. The camera settings had to be changed and the tape had to be striped before i began filming, this was extremely time consuming.

The area that i filmed in first was the south building bridge it was easy to film because hardly any people were there to interupt us. All of the other shots were pretty much the same untill we got to the lifts! There were so many people just walking in and out of the lift and past the camera singing and dancing. To be truely honest the college should have given us much more time to film and when most people are in there lessons as well.

Because of the lift problems i then had to forget about one of my shots inside the lift and then in the editing process get a shot of outside the lift makeing it seem like Neil was in it.

The editing was quite difficult until i got the hang of it. I thought that i edited it quite well and thne end product turned out brilliantly.
